ZEELOYD

Following is a link to a very talented musician ZEE.

He is a very good friend of mine. I have been insisting for quite a long time that he should upload his songs, so finally he has put his compositions on his website.

I love his song KHWABON KI DUNYA , It has been a great experience to listen that song live, that song really catches one's attention right from the beginning.

London's Sleet is a catchy grand piano composition.

He is a good singer/songwriter and an excellent composer.I wish him good luck for his future endeavours.

Give it a listen.

RELICS

A psychedelic lyrical piece, I hope we will get it composed soon.

This song of mine is for the city of MOEN-JO-DARO. A place that always makes me think that where the inhabitants of this developed city (5000 years ago it was considered as a centre of civilization) have disapppeared. Archealogist found not even a single human skeleton during excavation. Why did they abandon their city? It remains a mystery.

Who were they?
& where hath they gone?
Why they shunned their city?
What made them to roam?

Had they been banished
From their Eden too,
Who won them this blemish?
Who caused them this woe?
Had they been lured too?
Like dwellers of Eden, Who
Sinned, & soaked in gloom.

There falls, bleeding chariots in the nights
Bitten by the thunder lights
Fiery tears from Heaven’s eyes
Don’t let them climb back to paradise.

Back in the ruins,
Their voices still echo through these relics
Their idol still dances, their deity is still prolific
Their wheels still turn, their Indus still floods
And still lives on the mystery of their unread words.

For Vera

She said Come
She said Stay
Smile she said
She said Die
I came
I didn’t leave
Yes, I smiled
And I even died.

SEASONS

Winter and summer never make me feel anything special. I like spring at some extent because it’s good to see green trees after a long barren period. It’s a season of blooming world.

But I don't know why I fancy autumn, a season when leaves fall off the trees. A season in which these fallen leaves have to bare the scourge of cruel wind, a season in which they are totally at the mercy of unmerciful wind, whipping wind compels them to dance by clutching their hands with its countless invisible manacles. Its like a dance on the thorns, I see them bleeding and hear them sighing while they crawl from one place to another under the influence of blowing wind. I pity their plight and whenever I stroll over those walkways that are plagued with yellow leaves in autumn; I hear their cries under my feet. We people nonchalantly tread on these yellow leaves that get squelched beneath our feet while we stroll in the garden for pleasure.

Those naked trees and those ruined gardens haunt me, I always like to sit under the leafless tree and to shed tears for the slaughtered leaves whose corpses are scattered all over the green grass.

It’s like a war that has just been over and the bodies of the vanquished are being held on the spears. Yeah! yellow leaves resting on the tips of the green blades of the grass is a good analogy to understand the horriblity of war.

But can anyone tell me that WHY GRASS ALWAYS REMAINS GREEN and WHY AUTUMN ONLY WRAP THE MISERABLE LEAVES IN THE YELLOW SHROUD.

Why! Is nature biased? Nature provided both of them with green attire but why it always inflicts wrath on those miserable beings. Why they have to suffer and grass blades get away with it.

It’s like our society where some people are made to suffer again and again and some others get away with it. They don not have to bear the torcherous pain of life.

If someone wants to depict the contrast of our society then one must paint the scene of the autumn laden garden. Surely you can see in that picture the miserable ones (yellow leaves) and those who are blessed, who never starve, who never suffer any calamity (the arrogant blades of green grass).

PROMETHEUS

If they snatch my ink and pen,
I should not complain,
For I have dipped my fingers
In the blood of my heart.
I should not complain
Even if they seal my tongue,
For every ring of my chain
Is a tongue ready to speak.

TRASLATED BY : Azfar

I will steal fire from heaven to light this gloom. No matter if they persecute me, I will bear every lash with smile, I will take every punch with patience.

And if I fail to steal fire then I will glow myself, I will glow myself like a lamp. I won't let you die in the darkness , though I am a NOCTURNAL, my life starts at dusk, I like darkness but I ain't selfish. I will sacrifice my life for you, I will embrace lights, I will kiss the gleaming flames.

Here everyone is just a victim of self pity; every one is magnifying his/her wounds. Everyone is in the search of soul mate; I hate this stubborness.

I love rebels, I love mavericks because I worship god Prometheus

KARMA

Feel the prick of serpent's bite
And sense the venom in your lies
There’s no difference you could find
In ruinous fang and vicious mind.

_________NOCTURNAL

I don't believe in Karma, but if I were to believe in it then I would say that all the humans were serpents in their previous lives.

Humans are as venomous as serpents.

It's weird, Isn't?

An angry dumb girl said to the blind boy,

"Don't ever dare to stare at me again, can't you see I am invisible".

Blind boy was stunned by the girl's accusation and in order to clearify his position he said to his deaf girl friend,

"She is lying, I didn't stare at her."

"She is not lying, you always try to look some where else. you never looked into my eyes", said his girl friend.

"You always eye someone else, I hate you", She yelled at him and walked away.

Let me introduce myself.

I am blinding light
I am enlightening gloom,
I am thorn of fright
That only blooms
in the dark.

KURT'S SUICIDAL NOTE

This song is written in memory of Kurt Cobain.

Wait Until It Rains.

Let me be your tears
So that you could cry
Let me be your pain
So that you could sigh
Let me be your ink
So that you could write
Last note before suicide

I am not insane
I’m an honest man
There's no secrect in my brain
You don’t really need to scan
My mind, my hidden ram
You don’t have to prick
My fragile veins.

I play no hidden game
I can’t really stand
Your loss and your gain
I can’t ease your pain
I can’t wash away your stains
So, wait until it rains
Wait until it rains
Wait until it rains……

But, don’t know how and when
Those clouds will shroud again
Your moon that’s full of stains
To ruin its ugly reign
To free your sky from pain.

So you better wait until it rains
Wait until it rains
I can't ease you pain
I can't ease your pain
I can't ease your pain.

Cradle

None are so hopelessly enslaved as those who falsely believe they are free. (Goethe)

So we are all slaves, aren't we?

Some are slaves to their dreams, some are slaves to their desires and some are slave to their wishes.

I was born in a grave of misery
I was raised by the fears like every
Slave, who dies of born slavery.

You can’t feel me, I am an illusion
You can only taste my confusion
That I am made of, that never pays off.

‘Cos you were born with a hallowed ring
You didn’t have to be baptised in a pool of sin
In fact, me and you are two different things
I just wail, you only sing
I am a slave and you’re a king.

But I’ve got all my reasons
To scrap off your prison
And swap with you my lesion
My lesion.

As I’m possessed by a rebellious demon
That calls me towards my Eden
My cradle, my freedom.

How does it feel
How does it feel
To be on your own

Like a rolling stone?

I WANNA RUN AWAY FROM MYSELF

Why you sometimes feel that you are living a life which is not worth living. Why you always think that what you are and what you do is just crap. Why you always see things that always turn out to be your nightmares. Why you always touch things which are nothing but illusions crafted by your dreary mind.

Why you always on the wrong way when you know the right way. Why you want to get lost when there is no place for you where you could hide yourself. Why you just bleed yourself when you know that self flagellation is a sin. Why you curse yourself when you know that it is useless. Why you shed tears when you know that they are like fuel to your internal inferno.

I don’t know what kind of man you are; I don’t really want to know even. I think you are jinxed and I just want to get away from you...........................................

Shattered Hearts

I dedicate this song to all the shattered hearts out there.

Lets play an ugly game
Lets add fuel to flames
Lets salt the bleeding aims
Before another brawl.

Lets force these tears to fall
In the fire of fear, a pitfall
An abode, a grave of all
Dreams and hopes.

Lets tie the noose to rope
Lets hang it down the road
To lynch all our wishes
Like the yobs of medieval past.

Lets lay our dreams in vault
Lets put a wreath of halt
On the tomb of endless stroll
To reach the distant stars.

Lets knit the fear to hoard
Pearls of shattered hearts
So lets all jump aboard
To sail through the dark.

MAIN SAHIB-E-IMAN NAHEE

In response to the Faiz's nazmYaad ki raahguzaar that she sent me in order to express her feelings , I wrote that nazm(POEM) as an answer or to be exact as a reaction. Infact Faiz's nazm provoked me to write something.

Faiz's poem ends with the following lines and these lines literally pierced me like a poisonous thorns.

Tum se chalti rahay yeh raah – yunhi achha hai
Tum ne murr kar bhi na dekaha – to koi baat nahi

Then what I wrote is mentioned below,

MAIN EK MUDAT SAY HALAT-E-HAZAR MAI HOON *(halat-e-hazar- -state of being stagnant)
MUJHAY RAH-O- SAFAR SAY KOI KAAM NAHEE
MAIN EK MUDAT SAY APNI HEE KHOJ MAIN HOON
MUJHAY MANZIL KAY NISHAAN SAY KOI KAAM NAHEE
MUJHAY RAKHT-O-RAHZAN SAY KOI KAAM NAHEE

ZANGEER-E-ZAKHM QADMON MAIN HAREE HAI AB TAK
PHIR SAYYAD KAY CHUNGAL MAIN KYUN GAWAIN KHUD KO *(sayyad--hunter)
NIGHA MEREE, KISEE CHARAY PAY KYUN DAY DASTAK *(dastak--knock)
KYUN KISEE RAAZ KA HAMRAAZ JATAIN KHUD KO
MISL-E-DAMAN KYUN HAR BAR PHAILAIN KHUD KO

MAIN EK BAAGHI, ATA'AT MERA IMAN NAHEE *(ATA'AT-obedience)
RAH-O-RASM SAY, ULFAT SAY MUJHAY KAAM NAHE
MAIN ISHQ KAY LASHKAR KA AALAMDAAR NAHEE
MERAY HATHOON MAIN BEWAFAEE KEE TALWAAR NAHEE

MAIN RAFAQAT KO IBADAT KAA DARJAA DAYDOON
MAGAR AFSOOS KAY MAIN SAHIB-E-IMAN NAHEE.
