Someday

Chilling aloofness freezing my nerve
I want heat, heat of love.
Can you heal me, can you feel me again
From the hands of despair
Can you steal me again?

Those days, when you were leaving me
All the pain that you were giving me,
Are still breathing in my heart
You left me and I’m still playing my part.

Chilling aloofness freezing my nerve
I want heat, heat of love.

Those days, when you were dragging me
On the thorns of rift that’s shredded me,
Are still breathing in my heart
You bred suspicion that cleft us apart.

Now I’m dwelling in a gloomy wood
Where days and nights have the same hue
Bothered, smothered by the memories of you
Lying neath the tree and recalling you
Come there, someday like the moonlight
To kindle my hopes, enliven my sight.
